It appears to be back in full swing, and a twist of overt racism has been added to the mix!

An Alaska resident has filed a lawsuit, claiming President Barack Obama can’t run for president because he’s mulatto. When was the last time you’ve seen that word in print…

Barack Hussein Obama II, Aka Barack Hussein Obama, Aka Barack H. Obama has the race status of being a ”Mulatto.” Barack Obama’s father (Barack Hussein Obama I) was a full blood Negro being born Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya and raised in the Colony of Kenya. Barack Obama’s mother (Stanley Ann Dunham) was a white Caucasian woman being born in Wichita, Kansas on November 29, 1942 and raised in the state of Washington and in the State of Hawaii.

Filed by Gordon Warren Epperly of Juneau, Alaska, the suit cites the U.S. Constitution’s qualifications one must have to become president of the United States.

He contends:

As stated above, for an Individual to be a Candidate for the Office of President of the United States, the Candidate must meet the qualifications set forth in the United States Constitution and one of those qualifications is that the Candidate shall be a “natural born Citizen” of the United States. As Barack Hussein Obama II is of the “Mulatto” race, his status of citizenship is founded upon the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Before the [purported] ratification of the Fourteenth Amendment, the race of “Negro” or “Mulatto” had no standing to be citizens of the United States under the United States Constitution.

A quick Google search reveals Mr. Epperly is the brain behind 14th Amendment, a website that contends the 14th amendment doesn’t exist. I’m not sure what to make of this political stunt, as the all-too-real 14th amendment overruled the Dred Scott Decision that declared blacks are not citizens of the United States. Section 1 of the 14th amendment states:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

I don’t even know why Mr. Epperly is even wasting his time with this nonsense. It’s too bad a few nut jobs can’t accept the fact that President Obama is indeed a citizen of the United States and met all the legal qualifications to become the chief of state. I can’t do nothing but shake my head at this lackluster sideshow.

    I’m sure he thinks it will go all the way to the Supremes and cause the 14th Amendment to be overturned.

    So first conservatives insisted that Americans must pass an ideological purity test in order to be card-carrying members of the Republican Party.

     

    Then Franklin Graham declared that people must pass a religious conviction purity test to be accepted as a true Christians.

    And now this clown — apparently enamored with pre-WWII Germany’s Aryan race philosophy — is claiming that Americans must pass an ethnic purity test in order to be regarded as naturally born citizens.
