Another Gwyneth Paltrow fail

Gwyneth Paltrow just can’t seem to avoid displaying her snobbish ways. In her latest musings on life, the actress gushes on motherhood. When asked about the impact of motherhood on singer Beyonce’s life, Paltrow had this to say:

“I think motherhood is the biggest blessing of all time and it give your life real meaning,” she points out. “It’s always interesting when you’re a woman with success and you’ve achieved a lot, and then you have a baby and you realize everything you thought was an achievement really is nothing until you have a kid, and I think that will be [Beyoncé’s] experience.”

In other words, the only achievement that should matter to women is to pop out as many babies as possible. Gee, I guess that leaves us child free women yearning for something more monumental and exciting in our lives. Forget getting a good education or establishing yourself with a satisfying career. Forget living out your ambitions and making your dreams come true. Seeking happiness and achievement that nourishes your soul through having babies is where it’s at.

What about us women who don’t plan on having children? Well, that means we are complete failures who will have lives with no real meaning and achievement. Our virgin uteri will shrivel and die from lack of use to contribute towards our happiness, success and lifetime achievement. We will become bitter hags who will always feel a gaping hole in our soul, regretting we didn’t pursue what really would have made us complete: having babies.

Paltrow’s comments is nothing short of a massive fail in which women like her feel the need to use their money and status to lecture women on the joys of motherhood and how their lives will play out if they don’t fall in line and put their uteri to work.
