Well, I’m sure you’ve heard the news: President Bush and the U.S. are in ‘agreement‘ for a $150 billion stimulus package for American taxpayers.
Individuals who make less than $75,000 would get a rebate up to $600; Couples would get $1,200; and couples with children would get a $300 bonus.
However, the money won’t be in the mail until June. So, until then, you have time to think about what you would do with the extra money.
Would you pay off bills? Donate it to charity? Or would you pump it into the economy?
Edit: Wasn’t this done a few years ago? Did it have any short-term, positive effects?
