This graph is probably the most telling of the state of newspapers today:
Newspapers are not missing the blog boat. They are running for it like the last train out of Paris. They hold their breath and look the other way as their most precious rules and standards get trampled in the rush, and figure they’ll worry about that later.
Now, I want to pose a question to you: How do you feel about the state of newspapers ? Do you think the so-called inevitable doom of print media will have the same bearing on TV or radio (we can now watch TV shows and listen to the radio online)?
While the new media champions do make a valid point about the increasing presence of online media, wasn’t the same fate predicted for radio when television was invented? Something to think about….
